Studios shouldn’t be allowed to own streaming, cable, or broadcast channels. Or theaters for that matter. This kind of integration is killing competition and ruining programming. Make the content, then sell it to the highest bidder instead of hoarding it behind a firewall or hiding it in a vault.

Honestly I think most of the issue comes down to payment processing. Think of the small streaming/etc businesses that could be localized and launched at like 0.99$ a month if it wasn't 0.35$ + 4% and the blood of your firstborn child just to process a payment.
