I think the Creed and Nickelback hate is a cringe US phenomenon. Luckily it never swapped over to the rest of the world.

We made fun of Nickelback in their home country as well but not anymore. They just played a sold out show last week here so their popularity isn't slowing.

Nickelback is alright i think. But the amount of time it was played on the radio was insane. I think that tipped me over and i completely stopped listening to it. But that is hardly their fault.

Nickelback hate made it to the UK—I'm pretty sure it's still regarded as pretty cringe to say you like them to most of the people that still know the name
