Looks like the cats are shopped in, but the rest is probably some real pic from... I dunno, mid 00s?
I am guessing the main character of the shot and whoever is on the right side of the image fell over or tripped over each other about half a second after the picture.
The double belt in the background makes me question whether his marked hand is an admission mark or if he's straight edge.

Source: Also old and punk. I was never edge but I went to many a show under 18/21, X was always required unless it was a house show.
That said this kid looks edge as fuck lmao. The white T and the old Emericas (definitely 2000-2004 btw).
