I'm not sure Dutton wants to pull on this thread. Part of the social contract is that bad people are put away. Now like it or not, BOTH sides here have committed war crimes. You wanna let them get away with it? No worries! So we no longer care about stopping acts of evil and righting wrong?
Jesus you best hope I dont see you at a pedestrian crossing Dutton cause if theres no right or wrong it's up to my own personal sense of justice, isnt it?
If they had any guts, Labor would use this relentlessly to paint Dutton as "soft on crime".
That or it's all just a smokescreen to get out of the court so he can commit even more severe human rights violations against asylum seekers or something?
