And
What was the deal with what happened to the Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee and the Night of the Murdered Poets?
From what I understand, Stalin’s issue wasn’t with Jews writ large but rather that he saw particular Jewish-affiliated political organizations and blocs as a threat and thus tried to subdue them.
