Is nazism really that relevant to America?

I hate to be that guy, but what are the chances this was some accounting quark? Like that was the most they could offer off while still making a decent profit on the service, and it just happened to be the Nazi number?
I'm not denying there's a lot of white supremacist small business Kulaks in the US, but I think most of them lack the cleverness to be this subtle. There's a racist mechanic in my town and he doesn't bother with subtle signaling like that, he just posts a bunch of off brand MAGA signs outside of his business.
I've seen a small business where the owner was Chinese add eighty-eight cents to every price, I figured it was just an "eight is a lucky number, especially for money" thing. The fact that there are so many other 8's here makes me wonder if it's something like that.
I would honestly find it more if it was JUST 1488 and all the other prices were normal.
FYI a lot of retails use the cents after the dollar amount as an inventory code, like .00 means closeout, and something like .59 means the product is from an outside vendor. There's guides online for this for like Walmart and Costco so you know if the product you're buying is going to be there next month. So idk maybe .88 is some kind of code.
I don't think the American Right is at the point now they need to rely on secret wink-and-nod codes, they can be pretty overt. American Nazis just get the Swastika tattooed right on their forehead.
