$2.5b could be better spent (or even just not spent) anywhere.

People are still hungry

Unhoused are still unhoused

Veterans are still 1) Created 2) Shovelled out onto the street once we are done with them

We still send bulldozers to remove homeless encampments and make hostile architecture
