Honestly I'm surprised it took this long. The only other issue I've ever seen (between revanced and the original vanced app) is the watch history not saving a couple weeks back.

Just repatch the app again. I use v 19.09.37 and apparently they have solved these playback issues.
Don't forget that you also need to replace vanced microg with Revanced microg as well.
