In the future, all memes will have just evolved (devolved?) into blurry blobs of compression artifacts. Your grandkids will see a blurry blob and go "oh wow, an antique lolcat meme"
When AI takes over and floods the Internet with gen AI memes, kids will start appreciating the genuine era or antique, man made memes.
