From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Discord is one of those things that should be avoided at all costs.
Yeah, but all of my friends use it.
They maybe you should transition them off of it if you can
Well I do agree that Discord is horrible, you've got to understand how hard it is to get friends that don't care about their privacy to use something else.
So far there's no good alternatives
What's your reasoning for this?
It promoted proprietary software and requires you to use your IP address. Additionally, they seem to be heavily influenced if not controlled by government agencies
