CHROME (google) is planing to implement DRM (kinda) into their browser
(lemmy.dbzer0.com)
looks like rendering adblockers extensions obsolete with manifest-v3 was not enough so now they try to implement DRM into the browser giving the ability to any website to refuse traffic to you if you don't run a complaint browser ( cough...firefox )

You remember browser toolbars? People would have 3 of them at once, having no clue where they got it from nor how to remove it.
