I laughed!

yesterday I was at the grocery store and the young lady at the register asked me if I was going to watch the big games today. I told her I didn't really care about football aside from one team. She asked if I was going to watch the Superbowl and I said probably not. I asked if she was going to and she said yes because her hobby was Taylor Swift. It was a moment that I will remember for a while because it was fun to be in that space where this young lady who didn't care about the game was excited about Taylor Swift being a part of it, and me whos watched it all my life could care less.

because her hobby was Taylor Swift.

What on earth does THAT mean?

It’s just a fun and silly way to say she deeply admires Taylor Swift. What else could that mean?

She is obviously the puppet master controlling the android we call Taylor Swift. It's just a hobby though. /s

Sounds more like she forgot the word "fan" for a moment.

I think it means that whenever she is done with work and stuff, and has a good bit of downtime, she will go into her Taylor Swift chamber where every surface is lovingly adorned with tastefully beautiful images of Taylor, where she will rest on a Taylor Swift pillow and listen to LPs of her music while watching videos of her interacting in social circles online.
