Come now, we've invaded far fewer of the world's countries than the UK.
The real hypocrisy is that every last fucking one of us comes from immigrants, and yet half of us are eager to pull up the ladder behind us.
Invaded fewer, yes. Destabilised for greed and oil, causing mass migration to European countries, that's a whole other story lol
Sorry, I was napping when they asked us if they should do that.
stop napping, then.
Nah.
then dont complain i guess.
Wait, was I complaining? Can you even read?
Except the natives who people just like to forget
we might be forgot but we never forget
its just that we want our ancestral land to be preserved and respected. Rare have I ever heard someone from the rez hate on refuges. Our anger is purely with the way we are treated by our own federal government and by corporations.
So if you need to leave your homeland because of reasons?
Let's continue what was started in 1492
LET THE REFUGES COME AND BE PROSPEROUS. JUST LIKE YOUR ANCESTORS.
The great turtle island is big enough to hold us all on her back. Boarders should never exist.
Borders*
Boarders can be cool people
If that's the only flaw in my English, I will call that a win!
Alright, every last one of us who isn't of 'pure blood' in the US comes from immigrants.
That would included those that you consider 'natives'.
Didn’t the natives immigrate from Asia?
Correct. Between 30,000 and 16,000 years ago, humans came to North America from Siberia..
At least as far as we know so far.
They found a footprint in San Diego, back in the late 90s that shows that people were here at least ~~120,000~~ 20,000 years ago or some shit.
Oldest found in North America is 23,000 years old.
A 120,000 year old footprint was found in Saudi Arabia, obviously that is the cradle of civilization, as far as we know.
Shit I conflated the two, thanks.
Yep. There's no 'natives'. Shits been getting invaded and conquered forever.
People have been dying from measles for forever. We know better now and can stop.
OK. What's your point?
Just because everything was invaded in the past doesn't mean we can't do it differently in the future.
How does either of your comments relate to my point of there being no natives?
The idea that there are no natives and everywhere has been invaded forever implies that is the normal way of things.
Well yeah but so long ago that I wouldn't really count that as immigration in modern sense. Since technically everyone is immigrant except the bery first humans that existed. And if you really want to stretch it far we all immigrated from the sea before we even were humans
Everyone originates from Africa.
To be fair the UK hasn't invaded many countries that still exist. Their creation of new countries is responsible for about half of global conflicts, but the didn't invade those countries.
They are the descendants of those broken countries tho
First sentence is pretty much invalidated by your second one.
