MODERATORS
There are 50 million pokemon clones that have mon in the name and have an electric mouse as their mascot. Not sure why everyone is freaking out about this one.
Because people are jealous this ones good
Because thise one became popular and seems (did not really saw anything besides a short talk by a youtube channel) somewhat original in an acceptable quality.
I don't know of any other clones that reached that popularity.
(That said: Pokemon stopped for me at 3rd Gen, so I don't know whats up with the IP anyway)
Basically, the people who are bitching about it to Nintendo don't like that it's more violent than Pokemon and got popular.
