It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:
Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.
Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.
Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.

What are the advantages of electric kick-bikes over e-bikes?
You uhhh...get to stand? That's all I've got
Lower center of gravity which might be easier for people with balance difficulties.
Folds up.
Smaller footprint.
That’s pretty much all I can think of off the top of my head as well.
If you have balance difficulties it's probably best that you use something with 3 or 4 wheels. Both Ebikes and ESooters go fast enough to fuck you up.
Easier to store. Especially if the handlebars fold down.
You get to have terribly balanced muscles leaving you both in shape, and in a lot of pain. Like most older skateboarders.
The human body is not built to kick the floor for hours a day everyday as a mode of transportation.
Personally, my e-scooter is smaller and less "complicated" than my e-bike. No pedals or gears means less to maintain and worry about failing. It's easier to fold and stuff in my car.
But my e-bike is more stable around bumpy roads or potholes. I feel I'm more visible while riding it in heavy traffic, so it's usually what I grab.
A cross between the two would be interesting for me.
