it's a quite common phrase in indo-english, "please do the needful" which means like, please do whatever is necessary.

But what does he mean by this? I have not done the needful sir? What is he referring to? Like consummation?

*Please do the needful" is how some people from India end work emails where native English speakers might write, "Sincerely." It's a direct translation from Hindi where the intended meaning gets lost in translation. The intent is to ask for help or information.
