Plasma and apps for mobile also getting overhauled for 6.

It's not only Plasma on the desktop that is getting a new version, as Devin Lin explains in his blog post,

@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social Docked mode is exciting! That's the kind of thing I'm looking for. Getting a desktop session on an external monitor when you plug in would be amazing

Same here. I prefer to do 9/10 tasks on a desktop vs a phone, but sometimes I leave the house to go places. I would love to be able to dock my phone and carry a folding mouse rather than having to manage syncing a device for each stage of portability.
