These clowns said that they would have new nuclear plants up in like 8 years during the election. Post-election the figure has naturally changed, and now they claim that they will have them by 2035.
At the same time, they locally represent the NIMBYs preventing a sizable chunk of renewables from being built, all while the country is struggling with energy on account of the war.
Given that nuclear isn't exactly economically viable any more, to make this happen, they are also providing financial guarantees to anyone who will build - basically eliminating all the risk for them, but still letting the money go to a private actor instead of having it be national.
In summary, these are clowns of the highest degree. I really fucking hope they get voted out in the next election.
