I guess I got the finish to look okay on the pine legs and such. Looks great on the oak tops and shelves. Sat down to draw these on Nov 1 and they're finally next to my couch.

Thanks! I actually count these as my first proper fine furniture project. I've done a bit of plywood cabinetry this year, but these are a whole different ball game.

I'm starting to turn my living room into a showcase of family craftsmanship. My grandmother made me that afghan when I went off to college.

The only advice I have to give is build stuff. See those coasters in the second shot? I learned a lot about panel glue-ups making those coasters, and a lot of what I learned went into those oak tabletops.
