I think is time to #switch back to @firefox
(media.mas.to)
A place to discuss the news and latest developments on the open-source browser Firefox
I've already gone to the next step.
Youtube clients that block ads.
Gotta stay a step ahead.
What one is working for you?
For desktop I use the Freetube client.
theres also piped
@Seigest @spudwart
Invidious is working for me.
Unfortunately my work (school district) blocks it.
cant you just use an instance that isnt blocked?
@tubaruco
Perhaps, but finding one is a bit of pain in the ass. And since you have to register for each one separately, if they later block that on...meh
What gets blocked is random and weird...today it was an open source educational resources site.
Go figure.
well, i never used accounts on invidious, so i just forgot those exist
though you could use rss feeds directly from youtube so that you can see posted videos, and itd just be a little harder since youd have to search for it on a pc (if ur on a phone, you can just use newpipe)
