I have no problem with paying for no ads, in fact I think it's ideal. But they keep increasing prices and justifying it by including YT Music. Honestly, if you aren't paying for another music service already it's a great deal. Problem is I don't know anyone that does this.
I did this, but I was paying for YouTube music and then noticed that YT Premium was thrown in. I don't care about that but my daughter watches YT, so great. Then they raised the price to be significantly higher than other music apps so I cancelled. Right about then, they threw in YT Premium for free with my Fi plan so I was back in. Turns out that was only a 1 year trial and it's up next week. We've moved to another music service and my daughter is learning about ad blockers and alternative front ends now.

They also harvest your data. It's not like you're just paying for no ads. You're paying AND they're stealing your crap.
I'm not paying no ads. I will gladly use ublock-origin and they'll just keep one upping YouTube every time they try to put ads in
