I blame Jamie Oliver. Not for any particular reason, I just don't like the guy.
My favorite video is still the one where he tried to put kids off nuggets by showing them how they're made, but the kids still wanted the nuggets and Jamie's face of heartbreak was delicious.
and Folding Ideas / Dan Olson made a documentary about what an underhanded editing technique that was, comparing the UK and US shows to expose the trick

Does anyone remember one of the earliest instances of what could be called memes on the internet in the early 2000's, where someone ran a blog-style site about Jamie Oliver ranting about their latest reason for disliking Oliver, which invariably ended with...
