Is it not true that their shelters have an absurdly high kill rate and that their founder believed that "pets" are better off dead then domesticated? These are the things I was told and would like them corrected if they are wrong.

PETA intentionally bring in suffering animals that are so sick or wounded they cannot be treated. Humane euthanasia is the only option for these animals.

They also collect such animals from shelters that are no kill, which inflates the statistics further.
