Howdy yall. I'm looking to upgrade my current setup. I had SLI 1080s back when the 1080s came out but now no games support SLI, so I'm essentially down to a single 1080 and I'm struggling to play some new games.

Anyway, looking for a suggestion for a new "future proof" card that is compatible with my setup and if there are significant bottlenecks elsewhere. Im also not too keen on all of the different versions of each card. I assume my i7 needs to be updated as well but I'm not that bright. Willing to spend the $ but don't want something that's unnecessary.

Here's my current setup (I have 32gb memory instead of 16gb) https://pcpartpicker.com/b/3h4CmG

Yes I picked it because of the name Yes I understand I made poor financial decisions in 2016, but hey, it's gotten me this far. Just lookin for help

3080 is pretty safe if you can find it at a good price. 4070 is good too.

Last gen AMD 6900xtx is also very strong if u find a good price

Would the 3080ti be worth it?

At original pricing I'd guess no, but you might find good Ti deals these days.

I wouldn't pay more than maybe 15% extra
