A lady came into a store I was working at, acting like an asshole, because they thought it would get them a better deal, tried to angrily tell me I needed to sell her a $1000+ dollar outdoor furniture set for much less than the display price, this was the last one in the store, the display set itself, and it was already clearance price. it was marked at less than $200 dollars. this was the culmination of all the things I hate most in shitty customers. So I told her I was so sorry it was priced too high and I'd get her a better price if she waited there. then I went and did something else for an hour, came back and told her it was already sold early that day and sorry for the mix up. still feel fine about this.
I can't even bring myself to Karen let alone that level of obnoxiousness. I do wonder what they're thinking, though - we're so welded to and in love with our thoughts
I prefer to assume it's a personality disorder rather than hate my fellow humans.
