Isn't that painting with a broad brush? I thought there were a wide variety of people protesting for a wide variety of reasons.
And what book is that? "How to grind your poors for blood coffee"?
"we need to transition off fossil fuels ASAP to minimize the catastrophe", actually
"and only by putting the effort on the less wealthy". Or maybe you just didn't took the effort to understand the causes (can't blame you, foreign politics are complicated to get into) because the GJ indeed started from fuel increase but the main factor was a lack of fiscal equality, and the increase of the cost of living as a whole, while the most wealthy were shielded.
