it's certainly commonplace among some online groups of leftists, and may be an adequate term on occasion (in contexts where people will know what it means) for the most egregious liberal faux-solidarity nonsense. I'm saying it's naive to assume someone has never even been exposed to leftist thought because they don't appreciate the rude edgelord antics of specific online communities
