I bought a Miyoo Mini Plus a few years ago, but I was shocked that the SD card it came with was preloaded full of ROMs. I'm even more shocked that they've all gotten away with it for so long, this was a lawsuit waiting to happen. Should've been common sense to only ship a blank SD and let the user supply their own ROMs.
And most know to toss the usually fake SD card that comes with bad ROMs anyway. And if they don't it's the first advice they're given when they start asking.
So there no value in shipping it.
I have a collection of those crappy cards now. I use them in mp3 players and stuff. Who cares if they die. Just mp3s. I'll just grab another one.
My Anbernic RG SP didn't come with any roms.
I share an exact copy of my microsd on soulseek 😁
I really enjoy building my own rom collection :D It's been one of the best parts about this handheld stuff for me.
I often look for cool and/or weird games and add them to them to my collection. Really fun every time, it's like hitting gold when I find something strange.
The most recent case of this were the The Simpsons video games for the Gameboy and Gameboy Color. They seem so scuffed that I'm very interested. Haven't gotten myself to actually try them yet though.
There were a lot I knew from nes and snes, but almost none from gba. Trying all those was fun.
Yeah this does seem like they're asking for trouble, literally selling a card full of pirated games seems risky
This just sounds like an endorsement though!
Anbnernic has made it onto two completely different most wanted lists.
