Their hardware support is quite good, I still use my old watch I bought many years ago on sale (it was already old stock by then) so you don't really need anything new or fancy (and expensive)

how's the battery on old smart watches? i guess they can't be replaced?

I only use it for tracking my steps and checking time, so it can last several days on single charge.
