Donald Trump spent hours asking Elon Musk’s AI chatbot about whether Venezuelans would celebrate if he captured leader Nicolas Maduro—then ordered the operation that seized the South American dictator weeks later.

According to the report, Trump has “marveled at AI’s capabilities” ever since he returned to power, and during an Oval Office meeting with Elon Musk in December, he spent hours asking his Grok chatbot questions about his presidency and legacy.

When the president asked Grok how Venezuelans might react to Maduro’s capture, the chatbot predicted many would welcome the downfall of the “repressive” leader, the official said.

Jesus, this explains so much about why Trump makes so many incomprehensible and stupid moves.

He's not just listening to Fox News. He's listening to Grok.

He's not joking when he wants to rebrand AI as "super intelligence". He actually believes that shit.

Grok is our president. Trump is its puppet

How much you want to bet that the Grok he's talking to is a fork in the model specially tailored for the cheeto himself? If it's even a model and not just some human agent pulling the strings.

Oh yeah, Musk is definitely pulling his strings

The president then ordered the mission to seize Maduro in January, prompting celebrations in the streets

OK, now that's just propaganda.

People went into the streets with guns, in solidarity with the government, demanding Madoro's return.

The Daily Beast has a very….loose relationship with facts. I wish it wasn’t allowed in news communities here. Same with RawStory. But they both write fun headlines so here we are.
