Until some very serious reform happens to America itself, I will never trust the United States. They will always be just one bad election from losing their fucking minds and going back on any and all promises and agreements and turning on allies. Even if the Dems win the midterms and possibly 2028, I don't trust that they'll do enough to stop this from happening again or even hold anybody accountable.

Exactly. Their three branches of government are all broken: executive too unrestrained, and too powerful; legislative too deadlocked, gerrymandered, and gerontocratic; judiciary too partisan, dogmatic, and corrupt.Their quasi-religious constitution is a relic that they spend more time worshipping than thinking about what a constitution is for.
