Here we go with the implementation of fully automated, AI fueled warfare as a blueprint to be used for internal affairs. I wish i weren't able to say it, but I told y'all this would happen.
It's more simple than that - like doge, this will be an extraction of public money, and maybe the transfer of more data from government / publicly funded storage to Musk's CSAM generating facility.
Its about money too, but it's even more about transforming the military into something that does not pose a threat to the executive branch, which is worth a lot more cash.
Honestly, the greatest weakness of the military right now is ground troops. If you want people to be willing to die, you have to give them a cause to fight for, and discounted college tuition is not going to do it.
That's why the US' military is built around high tech and low casualties, because, after Vietnam, they realized Americans aren't willing to bleed for Empire, and that's why Ansarullah are cleaning up against Saudi Arabia, because nobody wants to die for a corrupt monarchy.
The solution to this problem is AI murderdogs.
