You know they are at historic lows of incompetence when they just keep recycling the same ghouls into different positions. I'm honestly shocked we still haven't nuked the planet into ash by now.

Hey Iran, Elon Musk is now a legitimate military target.

[–] schipelblorp@sh.itjust.works 13 points 2 days ago (3 children)

According to the West, there are no legitimate targets on our side. Any and all attacks on Western military targets are considered terrorism.

It is is beyond ridiculous. People allegedly attacking a US Airbase in the UK (maybe just stealing diesel) are called terrorists for attacking a military target. It is absolutely bonkers.

Yeah I don’t think that bullshit is flying as well as it used to though. It’s too obvious who is instigating, and more people have been paying closer attention and learning about the history of the Middle East and the foreign policy of western governments. I’m encountering it more and more from people whom I would not expect it, and I get around.

I don't know how nobody has told them to get the F out yet.

[–] OriginalTangle@feddit.org 2 points 2 days ago

When orgs fighting fascism are regarded as terrorism then the word has clearly lost its original meaning.

give him his chainsaw and send him to the middle east

[–] Chozo@fedia.io 76 points 3 days ago (1 children)

You know what? Good. I'm glad that Elon is now a valid military target.

[–] smeenz@lemmy.nz 27 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Well, is not like he's got anything else to do. Being the ceo of 5 (?) companies obviously doesn't take much of his time.

[–] bus_factor@lemmy.world 24 points 3 days ago

From what I've heard, they probably do better the less time he focuses on them.

[–] humanspiral@lemmy.ca 8 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

SpaceXai's biggest client! Future of warfare needs golden dome $1T+ contract to spaceX, obviously. Another $2T for Grok built skynet is recommended.

[–] Rudee@lemmy.ml 104 points 4 days ago (2 children)

Yeah, because the last time Muskrat was on a govt committee, it went so well...

[–] dan1101@lemmy.world 12 points 3 days ago

Still.haven't finished with the fallout from that disaster.

Really expensive self driving tanks that can also be submarines but parts fall off when they hit a bump.

[–] whyNotSquirrel@sh.itjust.works 29 points 3 days ago (3 children)

and it's only self driving if you put a crew inside

[–] Obituarykidney@lemmy.world 13 points 3 days ago

And they sink if you actually test the submersible feature.

I'm convinced that his truck thing was supposed to be the next Humvee. That man loves the government teat.

[–] bradorsomething@ttrpg.network 13 points 3 days ago

I suppose that’s one way to prevent US drones from being fully self-driving.

[–] mrbeano@lemmy.zip 4 points 2 days ago

Grok now screening all mid-term ballots for evidence of Hamas

[–] opus86@lemmy.today 12 points 3 days ago (2 children)

Oh cool. Let's watch Elon completely fail on a large scale again like he did with his DOGE bs.

[–] Prior_Industry@lemmy.world 10 points 2 days ago

They just found another way to transfer public money to Musk

[–] isles@infosec.pub 6 points 2 days ago

He only failed if the publicly stated purpose was the goal 🤷‍♂️

[–] brax@sh.itjust.works 12 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Is he about to DOGE the military?

[–] tigeruppercut@lemmy.zip 7 points 2 days ago

He walks into the Pentagon on day 1 carrying a sink and then spends the first month figuring out how to get the tanks to make fart noises when they fire missiles

[–] UsernamesAreForSuckers@lemmy.world 44 points 4 days ago (4 children)

Ketamine fueled weapons of the future coming in hot. The military is going to start looking like the stupid drawings of tanks I did in 2nd grade.

[–] Korkki@lemmy.ml 24 points 4 days ago (3 children)

Ketamine and HRT drug fueled soldiers taking orders from hallucinating AI, to kill kids, for Israel.

I like how Musk magically joins the government every time there is an election that Trump needs to cheat on. Then leaves like 4-6 months after the election is over. Probably just trying to make sure he doesn't get arrested by Democrats for all the illegal shit he is doing

[–] TheObviousSolution@thebrainbin.org 38 points 4 days ago (3 children)

They need to purge the military before they overturn the midterms just to address the possibility of US forces suddenly deciding not to follow illegal orders enough to detain Trump when given them. The US isn't a shitshow anymore, it's in a free fall that will drag a lot of the world with it.

[–] badgermurphy@lemmy.world 12 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

Packing the group with loyalists may quiet dissent, but as we've seen, loyalty does not relate to competency. So they're more free to do whatever they want, but at least they're real bad at doing it.

[–] Whostosay@sh.itjust.works 13 points 3 days ago

Oh no please don't put the most trained and capable logistics/communication/warfare experts out of a job all at once.

Shits gonna backfire.

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 21 points 3 days ago

but he said no weirdos....

[–] SethTaylor@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

So what's he gonna do like... schedule the next war?

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 4 points 2 days ago

They will mount him into the head of a rocket, fire him into Iran, and he will them potently bankrupt the country with stupid ideas like vacuum train tunnels.

[–] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 11 points 3 days ago

This immigrant is ok because his skin is white.

[–] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 16 points 3 days ago

Sure! Why not! Let's hire the nazi! American people...only you can save yourselves now.

[–] rustydrd@sh.itjust.works 11 points 3 days ago

Musk: So.... Ketamine, amirite?

[–] krigo666@lemmy.world 4 points 2 days ago

Misery loves company.

[–] Wildmimic@anarchist.nexus 12 points 3 days ago (3 children)

Here we go with the implementation of fully automated, AI fueled warfare as a blueprint to be used for internal affairs. I wish i weren't able to say it, but I told y'all this would happen.

Let me guess, the warfare of the future demands lots of Tesla power walls and a heavy reliance on starlink...
