In a first, a Chinese company has achieved high-parameter hydrogen-boron plasma control, marking a “significant and valuable” advance in research into neutron-free magnetic confinement fusion. ENN Group, based in Langfang, Hebei province, announced on Monday that its EXL-50U spherical device – a compact tokamak that uses a magnetic field to confine charged gas, or plasma, for nuclear fusion research – had successfully achieved hydrogen-boron fusion reactions.

Very funny to reference the naked mouthpiece of the capitalist class as they see China, a socialist country.

Yep, the working class controls the state since 1949, and public ownership is the principal, ie rising and dominant, aspect of the economy.

That sounds overly simplified. An authoritarian government is not accountable to the working class, and the pouring in of foreign capital, let alone market reforms since the 70's says at least a mixed market economy.

It's simplified because that's the generalities of socialism. China's specific economy is called a socialist market economy. As for the state, it's indeed run by the working class, who wield the authority of the state against the capitalist class. The state is not outside of class struggle nor does it form its own class, so the "authoritarian" state is a working class state. To be picky here, all states are "authoritarian," as all states are the means by which one class exerts its authority over the others. All economies are "mixed," to be clear, that's why I identified public ownership as being rising and dominant, not complete and pure.
