The explanation for why it's in English is likely that it would be foreigners eating pizza in the park. Amsterdammers would probably just take it home to eat.

Amsterdammers will have pizza delivered bij thuisbezord.nl. This is definately for tourists in places like Vondelpark.

Yeah, Vondelpark is also the only place I saw them (and the picture looks like it too), but I am just a tourist too (albeit a frequent one).

Good one, but it's actually pronounced like "pizza dose". This is of course because they contain a single dose of pizza.
