They made us use ansible at work. Then they made us use an LLM .
One cancels out the other, IMHO. None of the things I wanted to do are represented here, forced to slop some yaml together instead of building and maintaining actual software. Ai use kills any recall, expertise, or enjoyment.
But here's the thing. I never want to think about how to affect a change via a bad listing grammar. I never want to recall the decisions I made while doing so. I never want to learn how to make better ansible. I never want to show my friends that code either.
I'm absolutely tickled to give it to the slop machine and let it accomplish the goals with very little investment from me. Fuck Ai, but also fuck ansible.
