The all encompassing descriptor you're looking for is conservatives. All republicans are conservatives and all the AIPAC dems and dissenting dems are conservative.
Progressive dems are americas only hope of not being a shitstain of a country.
All republicans call themselves conservative but not all republicans are conservative. Republicans are their own kind of evil.
Conservatism in the USA is built on the idea of consolidating power and respecting hierarchy. They want a king or a dictator, objectively evil.
If you are trying to go for literal terminology. Fiscal conservatism would be progressive in practice. It is cheaper to provide universal healthcare than use 3rd parties. It is cheaper to have a public utility manage power, telecom, trains, and roads than to allow private industry to manage those. It is cheaper to simply not have a military than to have one. It is cheaper to bar pedophiles from government than suffer the effects of their blackmail.
I understand being technically correct but it is more important to use terminology the people you are trying to help understand. In summary, if every conservative politician in the USA disappeared today the USA would immediately be in a better position.
But also regular slaves. Double slaves.
