Is this a spin off on the “girl dinner” meme?
Yes. I had the misfortune to hear someone explaining this subreddit the other day. There was a "girl dinner" subreddits and it only allowed photos, so someone made this one so they could also post stories. Apparently the majority of the stories are about how terrible their boyfriends are.
It's so interesting how whenever you ask a straight woman what's going on in her life, the answer is almost always that the men around them are treating her horribly.
I always feel like damn, I knew the straights weren't okay but what are we doing here as a planet? Like what's going on here, human species?
My friend told me recently I'm the most emotionally intelligent man she's ever known and all I could think was that the bar was on the floor. I just try to listen to what she says and apologize when I feel like it's warranted.
