I thought he hated Neville because who the chosen one was prophecy described either Harry or Neville, and Voldemort went after Harry, sealing who the prophecy was and sealing Harry's mother's fate, making Snape hate him because Neville's parents could have died instead of a woman that would have never gotten with his shit ass.
But it's been ages since I've read the books.
Nevilles parents were tortured to insanity by Snapes friend. "Not his friend" walks into his home and he doesn't kill them. How do we know it was done before.... Because they did it before Voldemort died. He was a baby who was orphaned because Snape was and will always be, worse than 99% of NAZI's. His actions after proved it
