You used to be able to call these people the hard R word…not sure what the slang is these days but man, i just want to be ignorant and believe none of this is true lol
Found LTT's Lemmy account.
Ok? We also used to call people the N word. What's your point?
What the fuck is up with people actively trying to bring this slur back?
The “good old days”? Smh
No one is trying to bring it back, it’s a callout to a time in the past. That is all.
I mean, waxing poetically about the cruel shit you can't say anymore kinda feels like you want to be able to say it.
It's like a white person complaining they can't say the n word.
For a foreigner: does "negro" also considered N word?
If you're not speaking English, then no. That 'e' better be pronounced like the five vowels and not 'eee' (like 'i' in the five vowels) . And you'd better be talking about the color and not of someone's skin.
People are absolutely trying to bring that word back. Joe Rogan himself talked about bringing it back. It's a thing.
Oh wow, I had no idea. I don’t listen to Joe Rogan because he’s a disingenuous snake oil salesman.
What R word?
hard R? Republican is a synonym, just say that.
“Ha, are you Republican?”
yes. Republican is a synonym for that word
😂 in 2026, yah agreed!
