They also lose viewership when jacking prices or repeatedly canceling series.
I basically won't start a series that hasn't ended because I got tired of getting invested into something that gets botched or canceled.
Don't forget the commercials, arhhh ye land lovers
I know it doesn't really matter, but it is landlubber. A lubber is someone who is awkward or clumsy. So a landlubber was someone who was awkward on a ship because they weren't accustomed to the sea.
Huh, all these years I thought land lubber was just a mispronunciation of land lover. An important one just because it has personality, but still technically "wrong". Crazy.
