So google is is just torturing lower life forms now. Cool cool.
It's a simulated brain, so not a real fly brain unless we live in a simulation, so maybe there's no difference. Hmm...
This. Unlike the people using actual brains, these simulated brains are, for the most part, just linear algebra and no more a lifeform than a LLM. They lack all of the components of organic life, lack all the chemicals that make a real lifeform actually "feel", and so on.
