Fair point. But what they all share is the obsession with “liberal democracy“, right? I know no instance of the Greens in Europe that is able to imagine a world where we overcame this system, that is mostly run by big corporations and detached full-time politicians.

I think that's more them becoming "institutionalized" (read: riddled people in it for the money) as they grow in the number of elected representatives.

I was a member of the Green Party almost a decade ago when I lived in the UK, they only had 1 MP and before Corbyn became the leader of Labour, and most people I knew in it were even against Consumer Society. In fact, back then they were pretty much the only genuinelly left-of-center party in England with Parliamentary representation.

In fact, I've seen shifts in the posture of the party top layers in other small leftwing parties in other countries as they grew their number of seats in the local version of Parliament - small leftwing parties without strong coherent broad ideologies, which grew up during the Neoliberal era, seem to be incredibly prone to rot from the head down when they achieve some measure of success, maybe because when their politics are pretty much made up on the spot based on some vague principles it's pretty easy for slick operators to climb up in such a party and start taking it towards a "pragmatic approach", which invariably means to do whatever gets the most votes (and hence for them personally, access to well paid political positions) and screw the principles.
