Requirements: Vegan (obviously) Greasy as shit, nutritional benefits optional Tasty/savory Fairly simple to prepare

Something to fill the kind of craving as shawarma cheese fries or the like. I feel like various forms of deep fried potatoes are a good base/starting point

fried rice can be made without egg so yes, also while I haven't tried it I bet aquafaba if preped right could make for a perfect egg substitute in fried rice

fried rice is great even without egg or egg substitute. the korean restaurant i worked at never used egg. just sesame oil, onion, bell peppers, s&p. damn i miss that spot.

Not really one to one with egg but crumbled seasoned and fried medium firmness tofu is really good for that.
