It came out 19 years ago. Guy is probably too young to know of a time when hitting 30 fps with most options turned down was considered a win.

Bitch I'm older than Doom.

I'm from the era where games companies had to fit a game onto a physical disc, and they would give out multiple entire map packs with magazines for free.

Back when developers actually made games instead of relying on AI slop filters or ray tracing to do their job for them.

Or just pumping out the same game year after year with a new number after the title.

Older than Doom

I, too, am barely older than Doom, but this chud is huffing nastolgia. New tech is at the edge, practically by definition.

That said, I'm not really sure what DLSS 5 is supposed to do beyond a vague "it makes games look better!" Kinda annoying for a performance hit when it's not even clear what the goal is.
