It even has a release date, July 9, 2027.
Wow, not waiting two or three years for a new season? That's crazy talk. You're supposed to be able to give birth to a child and send it off to college before a series has ended!!
Why???
They filmed back to back to get it done. It’s honestly what more shows should try to do to avoid getting cancelled. It as also likely a stipulation Rebecca Fergusson had. She was hesitant to join and devote 4 yrs of her life to the show.
I don't think this is how it works. Unless a show is renewed for another season nobody is risking to start filming the next season, you only film what you're paid for. And it seems like these days most shows are in limbo for a year before a decision is made to renew for one more season.
