I'm wondering because last night I was thinking about how, to me, garlic is the food of the gods. And I just ate three small cloves of garlic raw.

chickpeas are great. you can get pallets of cans for cheap, use them for all sorts of dishes and if you have prep time you can cook them from dry and buy that in bulk.

very easy to turn into hummus or any number of dips, add into pasta dishes, curries, soups, wraps.

plus the fiber from them makes them nice and filling.
