Given that office work is a common form of employment on Lemmy, and given our higher-than average technical ability, I’m interested to hear what bothers you most.

For me: coworker says “I’m old fashioned” and refuses to employ the simplest keyboard shortcuts (using arrow keys to navigate excel, using Ctrl+C instead of the mouse, et cetera) and then complains about how much their wrist hurts because of their mouse.

lol this thread is so funny to me. i don't work "in" an office, but I handle the maintenance/operations of a few large office towers. the worst is office workers who think that they are superior to blue collar workers like us or the custodians and think that the temperature not being perfect or the mess they made not being cleaned up fast enough is a war crime. then on the flip side sending in ridiculous maintenance requests for simple things like a wobbly table, flipping a breaker because there's too much shit plugged in, or a sock on the street, which just makes me laugh.
