See that's how I feel about fascists getting shot.
I do love a bunch of small potatoes when I'm cooking my roast.
I don't think anything about this situation is "small potatoes". Don't get me wrong, I think killing US military servicemembers is morally the right choice, but we also need to acknowledge that the entire situation is fucked up. The goal should be the destruction of the system which made them into fascist invaders, not individual retribution.
Big difference there is that I don't think we're anywhere near 18 fascists.
