Forgetting a Wi-Fi password is pretty common, especially when you’re trying to connect a new phone or laptop.

There are a few simple ways to connect without having to type the password manually, as long as you’re authorized to use the network. QR codes, saved network settings and sharing features can make the process much easier.

Which method do you usually use?

I have a thermal receipt printer that I use for printing the WiFi QR codes. I wrote a simple Python script using the escpos library.
